Crunchy's Black Box Snacks offers catering through Australia's FIRST and ONLY self-service food truck. Our Crunchy's Black Box Snacks Food Truck serves the region from the Sunshine Coast down to Byron Bay and anything in between. Catering requires a minimum of attendees.
CATERING PACKAGES
On offer are three standard packages, suiting most people. However, feel free to reach out if you have any questions, inquiries or suggestions.CATERING BRONZE, IDEAL FOR THE SMALLER EVENTS
Our Bronze package provides 3 hours of on-site service for up to 75 guests, with a minimum spend of $1,500. This includes 75 prepaid cards valued at $20 each, which can be used for food (from our standard choices) and non-alcoholic beverages, a wide range of sodas, mineral water and selected fruit juices.
We take care of everything on the day — arriving one hour before service begins and requiring just 30 minutes to set up.
Travel within 25 km is included, with an additional $1 per kilometre beyond that (up to a maximum of 50 km total travel).
Please note: unused cards are non-refundable and expire two hours after service ends (if the truck remains on site).

CATERING SILVER, IDEAL FOR MID-SIZED EVENTS
A flexible option for mid-sized events with room to expand.
The Silver package includes 3 hours of service for up to 100 guests, with a minimum spend of $3,000. You’ll receive 100 prepaid cards valued at $30 each, which can be used for food (from our standard choices) and non-alcoholic beverages, a wide range of sodas, mineral water and selected or fruit juices.
Need to cater for a few more guests? You can add up to 20 additional cards at $30 each.
Cards (minimum 100) can be personalised for $ 3 per card, which are non-refundable; no return deposit required. You need to provide the artwork accordingly to our specifications. Design costs not included.
We handle all setup and preparation, arriving one hour before service and requiring just 30 minutes to be event-ready.
Travel up to 50 km is included, with any additional distance charged at $1 per kilometre (maximum total travel distance applies).
Unused cards are non-refundable and expire two hours after service ends (if the truck remains on site).

CATERING GOLD, IDEAL FOR THE LARGER EVENTS AND PREMIUM EXPERIENCES.
Our Gold package offers 4 hours of on-site service for up to 125 guests, with a minimum spend of $3,750. This includes 125 prepaid cards valued at $30 each, which can be used for food (from our standard choices) and non-alcoholic beverages, a wide range of sodas, mineral water and selected fruit juices.
You can add up to 100 extra guests with a minimum spend of $30 per person (we may add an extra hour of service). Cards (minimum 100) can be personalised for $ 3 per card, which are non-refundable; no return deposit required. You need to provide the artwork accordingly to our specifications. Design costs not included.

CATERING AT NEW AND UNPROVEN EVENTS
Information for New Event Organisers.
We are open to attending new events organised by first-time or unproven organisers. However, in these cases, we require a refundable bond of $1,500.
Why We Require a Bond
New organisers often provide projected attendance figures that are overly optimistic. For example, an event may be advertised as attracting 3,000 attendees, while in reality only 300 people attend.
This creates significant risks for food vendors:
Each food truck generally requires a minimum of around 200 sales to operate viably.
Events may invite too many vendors relative to actual attendance.
Multiple vendors may offer the same or very similar food products.
The food offering may be unbalanced (for example, one dessert vendor for every five savoury vendors is generally considered a healthy balance).
Poor attendance results in financial losses, wasted time, staffing costs, and large amounts of wasted food.
Bond Reimbursement Policy
The $1,500 bond will be reimbursed in full or in part, depending on the actual turnover achieved at the event.
If turnover reaches or exceeds $1,500, the full bond will be refunded.
If turnover is below $1,500, a partial refund may apply.
The maximum retained amount will be capped at $750.
Our intention is not to profit from this policy, but simply to avoid suffering losses caused by poor event performance, unrealistic attendance projections, or unsuitable vendor planning.
